CANSTRUCTION® 2001

OCTOBER 21 - 27 at Ridgmar Mall

An International Community Service Project Of the Design and Construction Industry

MISSION STATEMENT: CANstruct a World Without Hunger

CANSTRUCTION® combines the competitive spirit of a design/build competition with a unique way to help feed hungry people. Competing teams, led by architects and engineers, showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned and boxed foods. At the close of the exhibition, the cans and boxes of food collected to build these structures are donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank for distribution to food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, day care centers, after-school programs, and senior citizen centers.
